Suspicious Package: SCAD Atlanta, Lanes Of Peachtree Street Remain Closed
Police have blown up a suspicious package that had part of Peachtree Street shut down near the Savannah College of Art and Design Atlanta campus.
An alert sent by SCAD warning students about police activity in the area Friday evening.
Police said they are investigating a suspicious package in the area. Police cars near one of the SCAD entrances and blocking off some lanes near the Deering Road intersection. Some of the lanes of Peachtree Street remain closed at this time.
