SERIOUS ACCIDENT CAUSED BY THE LAGOS POLICE TASK FORCE.
Tragedy struck Wednesday morning along Alimosho bus top – iyana ipaja in Lagos state. The incident occurred about 8am on the usually busy road which connects several communities in Alimosho Local Government area and much more places.
This serious case was discovered to have being caused by the police task force when it was chasing a commercial bus popularly known as *”danfo”*,a woman had to wave for her not to be hit by the bus after dodging the bus. The woman ran across a tricycle(*napep*) which made the danfo bus and the napep clash into one another which eventually brought about an unpredicted accident.
The operator of the Napep was brutally injured and was rushed to the nearby hospital. Apart from the hazards of being knocked down or other dangerous injuries in this operation, the menace on the road is not however only being caused by operators of napep,okada riders and danfo drivers but also enforcement agencies just like this case which was caused by the task force
Most of the accidents involving commercial bus drivers are caused by impatience, non observance of road signs and traffic rules.
Recently, as report have it that Fidelis Espanyol,an entrepreneur in Surulere area of the state was going out with his family in his fairly brand new car, few meters away from his house, a *”danfo”* driver ran into his car and damaged it .
As soon as it happened, the poor driver got of his bus and prostated for Mr Espanyol begging profusely alongside his passengers.Eventually the man was left to bear the brunt of the recklessness of the bus driver.
On the part of the police task force, chasing a bus in a clustered road is not what should have been done by them, variety of options could have been used in obtaining the bus. Having pursued the danfo bus bringing about the accident, they were left with no other choice than to make the survival of the injured a priority………..
